One of Victoria's latest works, was created in Kharkiv, Ukraine, during a period of intense shelling in the city. Unable to evacuate, Victoria sought refuge behind her art. She played loud music, her beloved jazz and rock, as she painted throughout the day. Painting became her 'kung fu,' a skill she wielded against the harsh reality, reflected in the character's pose and expression.

You may also notice the intentional placement of yellow and blue colors in the top-left corner of the artwork.
